As a User Experience Researcher with over 25 years in the software industry, I’ve specialized in human-computer interaction (HCI). For the last ten, I’ve been focused on improving digital experiences for customers through research and education. I am experienced with both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. I am continuously reinforcing my skillset with the newest technologies. Most recently I started the Data Science Specialization certificate from Johns Hopkins University – via Coursera.

My interest in Herbal Medicine grew after a medical diagnosis. As I learned more about my condition, I realized that I needed to change my lifestyle to remain healthy. This lead me to taking an internship with the Suzanne Tabert at the Cedar Mountain Herb School. Suzanne changed my life! For eleven weeks we walked about the PNW identifying and harvesting herbs. Hands-on medicine making guided our days. I knew that I needed to learn more, which lead me to enroll in the MS in Therapeutic Herbalism program at Maryland University of Integration Health.

This new business will allow me also connect you with CAM practitioners in your community.

My goals as I complete the program at MUIH are threefold:

  1. Make it easier for everyone to access authoritative health information, especially about herbal medicine.
  2. Open a shop front to sell natural products I have produced.
  3. Develop tools that make personal health experiences integrated with all health professionals and in our day-to-day lives.

It’s time to make health truly integrative.
